How to Choose the Right Cards for Your Collection

01

Match the Product to Your Collecting Goal

Other Sports covers a broad mix of categories with very different collecting communities. Golf collectors typically chase PGA legends (Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer) and modern stars across both PGA and LIV. UFC/MMA collectors focus on champions and rising contenders through Panini Prizm UFC. F1 collectors chase Topps Chrome Formula 1 with refractor parallels of Verstappen, Hamilton, and Leclerc. Pick the lane that fits your sport, then decide between sealed hobby for the chase or singles for direct targeting.

02

Pick the Set That Fits Your Chase

For golf, Panini Prizm Golf brings the Prizm refractor format with PGA and LIV stars, while Upper Deck Goodwin Champions and Upper Deck Portfolio Golf offer art-driven, multi-sport designs. For UFC, Panini Prizm UFC is the modern flagship. For Formula 1, Topps Chrome F1 is the dominant modern set. For tennis, Topps Chrome Tennis and various Panini products cover Grand Slam stars. For NASCAR and WWE, Panini and Topps both produce regular sets.

03

Buy Authentic, and Buy Smart

Niche sports markets often have lower print runs and less mainstream attention, which can mean both better deals and more inconsistency in pricing. Buy sealed product from trusted dealers and verify graded slabs through PSA/BGS/SGC cert numbers. For valuable singles in any sport, PSA grading adds authentication and resale liquidity. We run monthly bulk PSA submissions out of our Laval shop if you’d rather have us handle it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sports are included in the Other Sports collection?

Other Sports covers everything outside the big four (NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB) and outside trading card games. This includes golf (PGA and LIV), UFC and MMA, tennis, Formula 1, NASCAR, WWE, boxing, Olympic sports, and multi-sport sets like Upper Deck Goodwin Champions. Inventory rotates based on release schedules and what we pick up for the shop.

What are the best golf cards to collect right now?

Tiger Woods remains the most chased golf player in the hobby, with vintage SP Authentic and Upper Deck rookies commanding premium prices. For modern collecting, Panini Prizm Golf and Upper Deck Portfolio Golf are the main flagship products, covering both PGA and LIV stars. Upper Deck Goodwin Champions is a popular cross-sport release that features golfers alongside other athletes.

Are UFC cards a good thing to collect?

UFC has built a strong collecting community around Panini Prizm UFC, with active markets for champions like Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, and rising prospects. As with any sport, the modern collecting market favors top-tier rookies and champions. UFC cards are still relatively young compared to the big four sports, which means more upside potential but also more volatility.

Is Formula 1 collecting growing?

Yes — Topps Chrome Formula 1 has driven significant growth in F1 collecting since its launch, with Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, and Lando Norris as top targets. F1’s global popularity surge (driven partly by Drive to Survive) has translated into stronger demand for refractor parallels and on-card autos.

Are the Other Sports cards sold at CardChasers authentic?

Yes. We source sealed product through authorized distribution and inspect all singles before listing. Graded cards come in their original PSA, BGS, or SGC slabs with verifiable cert numbers.

Can I grade my Other Sports cards through CardChasers?

Yes. We run monthly bulk PSA submissions out of our Laval shop and can pre-screen your cards in person to help you pick the best candidates. We handle paperwork, packaging, and tracking.

Do you ship Other Sports cards across Canada and the US?

Yes, we ship across Canada and the United States from our Vimont, Laval location. Local collectors can also pick up orders in-store at 1712 Boulevard des Laurentides, seven days a week.
