Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best NFL football cards to collect right now?

Panini Prizm rookies remain the modern football benchmark, followed by Select Concourse/Premier/Club rookies, Donruss Optic, and Contenders Rookie Ticket autos. For high-end, National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate Rookie Patch Autos (RPAs) are the most chased cards in the hobby. Quarterback rookies historically hold the highest long-term value.

What’s the difference between Panini Prizm and Select?

Both are made by Panini, but Prizm is the simpler flagship — one design, one base set, with color and numbered parallels driving the chase. Select is tiered with three design levels per box (Concourse, Premier, Club Level), so you get more variety per pack and harder-to-pull premium tiers within the same box.

What’s a Rookie Patch Auto (RPA) and why are they valuable?

An RPA is a rookie card that includes both an on-card or sticker autograph AND a piece of game-used or event-worn jersey/patch. They’re typically numbered and rare, and they’re considered the most desirable modern football cards because they combine the rookie year, the auto, and the relic into one card.

Are hobby boxes worth more than retail blasters?

Generally, yes — for hit-chasers. Hobby boxes contain better autograph and patch ratios, more numbered parallels, and exclusive inserts not found at retail. Retail blasters are cheaper and great for casual rippers, kids, and base set builders, but the odds of pulling a premium hit are much lower.

Are the football cards sold at CardChasers authentic?

Yes. We source sealed Panini and Topps product through authorized distribution, and all singles are inspected by our team before listing. Graded cards come in their original PSA, BGS, or SGC slabs with verifiable cert numbers.

Can I grade my football cards through CardChasers?

Yes. We run monthly bulk PSA submissions out of our Laval shop and can pre-screen your cards in person to help you pick the best candidates before submitting. We handle paperwork, packaging, and tracking.

Do you ship football cards across Canada and the US?

Yes, we ship across Canada and the United States from our Vimont, Laval location. Local collectors can also pick up orders in-store at 1712 Boulevard des Laurentides, seven days a week.
